Our pupil admission number is 60 which means we have 2 classes for every year group. All admissions for reception to Y6 are co-ordinated by the local authority.
Parents can now apply for places in reception and secondary school online.
Please contact the admissions team on 0161 770 4213 for more information.
Should parents have difficulty completing an online application, please ask at the office for help and support.
Secondary: 5.00pm on 31 October 2018
Primary: 15th January 2019
The school processes applications for nursery.
We have 39 places available in the morning and in the afternoon. Please note that ratios in school nurseries are 1 to 13.This is higher than those in private nurseries or daycare providers. We, therefore, have a teacher, 2 teaching assistants and an apprentice in the morning and a teacher and one teaching assistant in the afternoon.
We offer the “30 Hour Entitlement” scheme for working parents from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. Other parents can top up part-time places with extra hours. Please ask at the Main Office for more information.
Children can start nursery the term after their 3rd birthday (September, January and April start dates) if places are available. It may not always be appropriate for children to start the term after they are 3 if they need greater adult support. Parents can defer a start date after consultation with the nursery teacher or SENCo. Children with identified additional needs will receive additional support and will have an individual education plan or a personal care plan.
Parents can register an interest for a nursery place at any age. Should there be a greater number of applications than places available then criteria will be applied:
- Children looked after by the local authority, have been adopted, have a residence order or special guardianship.
- Have exceptional medical or social needs
- Have siblings in school
- Proximity to school
