A vacancy has arisen for a Parent Governor on our School Governing Body and we are inviting all parents who are interested in applying for this post to complete a nomination form. The vacancy is for one parent to serve on the governing body at our school for up to four years (this is the normal term of office).

If you wish to serve on the governing body as a parent governor, then you will need to complete a nomination form. The form can be downloaded from the website here or you can contact the school office and we can either print or email you a copy of the form.

Nominations must be proposed and seconded by two other persons entitled to vote in the election.

Please ensure that your personal statement is no longer than 250 words. The nomination form should be returned to the Headteacher no later than Tuesday 27 November 2018. Please write ‘Governor Elections’on the envelope.

If there are more nominations than vacancies, a ballot will be arranged by the Headteacher during the period from Thursday 29 November 2018 to Thursday 13 December 2018.
